SUMMER 26.
Familiar archetypes, relaxed proportions and unexpected combinations of fabric, colour and texture give new character to everyday pieces.
Nonchalance, a recurring theme for us, takes on a coastal quality this summer. Unfussy and slightly undone, with a relaxed confidence and a sense of freedom in the way pieces are worn.
Across both collections, there’s a sense of building a wardrobe from the ground up. Pieces feel distinctly us, while individually carrying the feeling of something acquired over time - something you wear, return to and keep. Classic archetypes including bombers, short-sleeve shirting, knitwear and chinos sit alongside playful proportions and familiar forms reworked for summer.
Clean cuts and diluted retro continue to evolve, with a focus on texture, colour and proportion. Asymmetrical and unexpected hemlines, shorter lengths and waterfall hems bring a sense of movement and subtle sensuality. A floral print, engineered with a reverse effect, explores the idea of anti-resort: vacation dressing through a more nuanced lens.
Suiting runs across both collections. Relaxed and unstructured, without the padding or formality of traditional tailoring, it is designed to mix easily with the rest of the wardrobe. A new cotton-wool blend brings an easy versatility, allowing each piece to work back with relaxed tees, silks and crisp summer shirting. We are carrying this suiting into AW27, creating a sense of cohesion between seasons.
There’s a considered contrast between hard and soft materials. Heavy canvas, hand-loomed cottons and silky cupro sit alongside washed denim, sheer fabrics, antique twills and smooth surfaces. Traditional materials are given new character through unexpected pairings, while details such as contrast drawstrings, hidden pockets and detailed stitching add something to pieces that may not always be immediately visible.
Colour is a focal point, with familiar tonal combinations joined by stronger contrasts and new neutrals. Pinks, reds and an unexpected marigold sit alongside the collection’s more restrained colours, while surf and retro beach references bring a subtle ’80s influence to the men’s collection. The result is a collection that feels relaxed but considered, familiar but not predictable.
At its heart, SU26 is about honest elegance: straightforward construction, natural fibres, nuanced colour and considered design. Pieces are designed to be worn, lived in and returned to over time.
