KASHMIR LOOM|HANDMADE IN INDIA
This is Jac’s passion project. A small capsule of shawls, so luxurious they encapsulate the very reason she co-founded Jac + Jack over twenty years ago.
Each piece begins with an ultra-fine, rare cashmere, sourced from the high altitudes of the Himalayas. Collected once a year and spun by hand, it is valued for its softness, lightness and warmth.
Each piece begins with an ultra-fine, rare cashmere, sourced from the high altitudes of the Himalayas. Collected once a year and spun by hand, it is valued for its softness, lightness and warmth.
It then travels to Kashmir, where it is cleaned, spun, and handwoven by artisans using skills passed down through generations. Each shawl can take weeks, sometimes months, to complete.
The result is pashmina. Feather-light, almost weightless in the hand, it carries a warmth that feels disproportionate to its delicacy.

Rare by nature and by process, these shawls are a celebration of slowness, precision and generations of craft. This lies at the core of Jac + Jack.
Limited to just 20 pieces, with select designs offered as one-offs, Jac is proud to present these pieces to you.
Available in store only.
